Scott Johnson has been in the insurance industry since 2017. Starting out at a Financial Firm in Tampa, FL, Scott specialized in meeting with clients and families to maintain sound financial habits- including offering planning for short/long term goals, saving for the future, and protecting what’s most important to them- their family members and assets.

Then, Scott went on to helping employers provide coverage that would help with things that normal health insurance doesn’t fully cover- like disability, sickness and accident insurance. Although making sure employees had additional benefits from their employers, sometimes the employer didn’t always offer what was best for the employee.

Now, back in Metro Atlanta, where Scott grew up, he has taken his mission back to helping the individual and families with final expense, mortgage protection, and life insurance. It hit home when he saw a good friend from high school pass away without any protection, causing his family to scrounge and ask others to donate to his family’s GoFundMe page, just hoping they had enough for his burial, final medical expenses, and debts.

Scott grew up in Cobb County, now lives in Woodstock GA, and has a 14 year old son, Everett. Scott played basketball in college at the University of Virginia before graduating at the University of South Florida with a degree in Criminal Justice, then played professional basketball in Italy and Germany. In his spare time, he volunteers coaching basketball in local church and recreational leagues.
